Do you live in the southern U.S.? Do you live specifically in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana?

If so, would you like to write articles for Best of the South Magazine and earn $5 per article?

Here are the steps:

Contact us at publisher@bestofthesouthmagazine.com to find out our content needs. Include a short, 100 word or so cover letter with your email contact information and your PayPal information.

We will contact you with a short list of about five topics. Some of these may be general, like “Things to do in Atlanta, Georgia” or they may be more specific, like “Things to do with Kids in Atlanta, Georgia”.

The articles must be original content written by you and they need to be about 300-500 words long. You may also submit ONE (1) original photograph with your article to be included on the site. Articles must be written in English and be spell checked and checked for grammar.

Make the articles personable and interesting. They don’t need to read like a term paper or a “What I did on my summer vacation” essay. Think of it like a blog post you would write to a friend.

You will receive author credit and have space for a short bio and link to your website at the end of your article.

We reserve the right to edit any articles and to refuse any articles that do not meet our needs. We reserve the right to limit the number of articles submitted each month. Articles submitted and accepted will be paid for through PayPal ONLY. No other payment system is available. Articles are paid for in the first week of the month following the month submitted. Ex – articles submitted in July are paid for by the 7th of August.
